Jani Christou (1926–1970) — The Greek Scriabin.

He studied piano with Gina Bachauer, theory with Hans Redlich (student of Berg), composition with Fratsia and Lavagnino, philosophy with Wittgenstein and Russell and analytical psychology with Carl Jung.

‘Having acquired a profound knowledge of philosophy, psychology, religion, social anthropology, art history and occultism, he developed his own philosophical system and his own music terminology, trying to highlight its universal, religious, metaphysical and mystical dimension.
